Sending local words from the frozen tundra of Minnesota to the sunny palm trees of Sevilla, Spain. I thought DD needed some Minnesota speak to brighten up her day. She has been gone studying abroad for five weeks already. Unbelievable! The time just goes way too fast.

I did say that Minnesota is the frozen tundra, but not this year! It has been an unusually warm winter around here. It was almost enjoyable! As spring arrives, winter is just a passing fancy for the 2011/2012 season. Nathan is sitting outside enjoying our lovely mid-February weather on the patio that we can now say we enjoy year ’round.

Below is our fireplace just two weeks later, clothed in our March snowstorm, all three inches of it.
