Morning:  Donut Wednesday happens every Wednesday; today was no different. I arrived at work prepared with Watermelon Grapefruit Salad so I wouldn’t be tempted. It’s hard to believe that a combination of watermelon, grapefruit, onions and jalapenos could possibly be good, but it surely was!

Afternoon: This is the Cabbage Salad with Cucumber Miso Dressing. I only made half of the recipe; I think 3/4 would have been a better serving size. I added a splash of tamari as I didn’t have sesame oil. The salad was great,  but would I’d add crushed peanuts next time around.

Curried Cilantro Cucumber Soup

Evening: It took me a 1/2 hour to make my raw dinner, and fold and put away a load of laundry.  It look my daughter 2 1/2 hours to make her dinner of Gluten-free Vegan Stuffed Peppers.  Hmmm…I guess raw is easier. That said, I was told that her dinner tasted as delicious as it smelled and was well worth the wait.

Today’s weight: 144# (.5# down today, 5.5# total) since July 2nd
