Although it is autumn here in Minnesota, it felt more like winter this morning, as our temperature clocked in at a mere 37 degrees. When it starts to cool down here, I begin to think of cruising (my favorite thing to do in the world, next to eating that is). I came across a cruise that goes roundtrip from LA to Hawaii (now in my pail of things to do). I was still thinking of Hawaii this morning when it was time to concoct my morning smoothie.
Pineapple Mango Bliss Smoothie
Makes one 16 oz serving
1/2 Cup Mango, diced
1/2 Cup Pineapple, diced
1 Tbsp Flax meal
1/4 tsp Matcha powder, optional
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Coconut oil, melted
1/2 Cup Ice
Place the fruit, flax, matcha powder and water into a blender and blend until smooth.Add melted coconut oil, blending well. Finally, add the ice and blend again.
